Anahita Riyaz featured in The Week Junior magazine for Runaway Kite A Ludicrous Adventure, young author achievement adventures with Anahita blog

One day, I, Anahita, was flipping through my favorite magazine, The Week Junior, and in the Your Turn section, under Inspiring Creativity in Others, it said:

“I wrote Runaway Kite!: A Ludicrous Adventure. It’s a fast-paced fantasy adventure about a runaway kite that ends up in a magical world full of surprises. I wrote it because I love creating unpredictable magical worlds and sharing them with others. Even though I dream of becoming a scientist, storytelling helps me think creatively, just like an inventor. I hope my book inspires other kids who love imagination and science, too!”

I was so proud of my work and initially did not notice it because I was in shock. I actually thought it was someone else, and while I was reading it, I thought, I know this person from somewhere, and it turned out it was ME!!!!

I was so excited and shocked that I was jumping up and down!!

I said, “Mom, Dad, I’m in the magazine!” and they were so happy.

We were so elated, and my mom immediately told my teacher, my school’s vice principal, and the principal!

This was really a huge achievement, and it could promote my book so more people can enjoy reading about my fantasy worlds.
