Today, my district, Lammersville, held a homecoming parade. My school’s theme was Harry Potter, so to show school spirit, me and a few of my friends wore Harry Potter outfits to match our parade float. I dressed like Hermione Granger, from Gryffindor, but sadly, my best friend was dressed like a Slytherin. Our principal was dressed as Albus Dumbledore and our vice principal came as Professor McGonagall!
We also saw many floats including ones from cheer and water polo. Each float threw candy at the crowd–thankfully, our Harry Potter cloaks had deep pockets! At the end of our parade, we saw marching bands, our music teacher for band and the sheriff performing tricks. (It was both terrifying and exciting to see a policeman doing stunts!)
It was a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious experience, and I was absolutely thrilled to share it with you!
