I am so excited to share some amazing news… I just published my first book!
It’s called Runaway Kite!: A Ludicrous Adventure, and it is now available on Barnes & Noble — and hopefully in more bookstores and with more publishers very soon!
(Here’s the link: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/runaway-kite-anahita-r/1148712579?ean=9798260340035)
The E-Book version will also be available soon on Amazon!
Here’s a short summary:
When a lost kite named Aphrodite crosses paths with the Greek Gods and Goddesses, a powerful monster begins lurking in the darkest corners of the world. Can Aphrodite and the Goddesses of the GMA Academy defeat the creature and restore peace — even while battling enemies like Medusa?
This book actually began as a school narrative essay in fourth grade. But once I started writing, I just couldn’t stop! I kept adding more and more until it grew into a full story. I worked on it all through summer break (though not during my Chicago and Solvang vacations
). Eventually, I realized that I wanted to turn it into a real book — and I did!

Special Dates That Make This Extra Magical
Did you know my book was published on Marie Curie’s birthday? That made me so jubilant because I hope to become a scientist just like her someday! I even dressed up as Marie Curie for my third-grade wax museum — more about that in another blog post soon!
When my author copies arrived, I felt euphoric, because now I’m officially recognized as a blogger and an author!
My Barnes & Noble release date was 11/11/2025, which is Veterans Day — and also a very special number to me. People say 11:11 is the time to make a wish, and my wish to publish a book came true! And the best part? I’ll be 11 years old very soon!
