I am so jubilant to share that my shipment of Runaway Kite!: A Ludicrous Adventure has finally arrived! Ten brand-new copies of my book came in, and holding them in my hands felt like the biggest achievement ever. The story is about a young girl whose enchanted kite suddenly escapes into the sky and whirls her into a hilarious, myth-filled adventure with Greek goddesses—and I can’t wait for everyone to read it!
But oh my goodness—the wait! This was the real champing-at-the-bit part. The books were supposed to arrive on Thursday so I could take them to school and show my teacher. Then, because of the rain, the shipment got delayed to Friday. And when they finally arrived on Monday… it was Thanksgiving week break! I had to wait an entire extra week before I could finally bring them to my teachers and friends.
At last, the books are here—and I hope you all get a copy and enjoy the adventure just as much as I enjoyed writing it!
